Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-19 · Effective October 19, 2026 · previous version September 25, 2026

Plain version first: M2Q is a tool for running your roofing business. You own your data. Measurements and material lists are estimates — check them on site. You can cancel any time, and your first membership payment has a 30-day money-back guarantee. The details below are the agreement.

1. Who this agreement is with

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between M2Q, a Florida company (“M2Q”, “we”, “us”), and you. If you use M2Q for a business, “you” means that business, and you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

You accept these Terms when you create an account, start a trial, buy a plan or a report, or otherwise use M2Q. If you do not agree, do not use M2Q. You must be at least 18. M2Q is built for contractors and other businesses; it is not offered for personal, family or household use.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.

2. The service

M2Q is software for roofing and exterior contractors. It lets you create quotes, proposals, change orders and invoices; collect electronic signatures; accept payments; order roof measurement reports and draw your own; build material lists; keep customers, projects and schedules; send emails and text messages; and connect tools such as QuickBooks (together, the “Service”).

We improve the Service continuously. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is a material part of a plan you have paid for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

3. Accounts and your team

Give us accurate information and keep it current. Keep your login secure — you are responsible for everything done under your account, including by the team members (owners, admins and reps) you invite. Tell us right away at support@m2q.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

You decide who is on your team and what each person can see. You are responsible for their use of the Service and for removing access when someone leaves.

4. Free trial, plans and billing

New accounts may start with a free trial. What the trial includes, and when it ends, is shown in the app. When it ends, paid features stop unless you choose a plan. Free reports you have not used stay in your account (section 5).

Plans are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or yearly as shown at checkout, through our payment processor, Stripe. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Billing; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Apart from the money-back guarantee in section 6, we do not refund or prorate the unused part of a period, monthly or yearly.

Before a yearly plan renews, we email you the renewal date, the price and how to cancel.

Solo and Team. These plans include the number of Detailed Reports a month you choose. You can change it any time in Billing: raising it charges the prorated difference for the rest of the current month and adds the extra reports right away; lowering it, or moving from Team to Solo, takes effect from your next bill, with no refund or credit for the current month. Solo is for one user; Team allows unlimited users on the account.

Solo and Team paid yearly. A yearly plan costs ten times the monthly price and covers twelve months. All twelve months of included Detailed Reports (twelve times the number you choose) are added to your account on the day you pay, and again on each yearly renewal; they roll over as described in section 5. The number of reports is set for the year: during the year you can buy extra reports or packages, and changing the number, or moving between monthly and yearly, takes effect at the renewal.

Prices are shown before you buy. We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your next renewal, and you may cancel before it does. Fees exclude taxes, which are added where required. Discounts and credits shown at checkout (for example, single reports counting toward your first month) apply only as shown there.

If a payment fails we may retry it, and we may limit or suspend paid features until it succeeds.

5. Measurement reports and credits

You can order roof measurement reports, priced per report as shown when you order. Some plans include reports, and you can buy single reports and, where offered, packs of reports. Report credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money. Delivery times shown are estimates, not guarantees.

How long reports last. On Solo and Team, the reports included in your plan that you don’t use roll over to the next month, with no limit, and they stay usable after the plan ends, just like reports you buy. On other plans, included reports are for the billing period they come with and do not carry over. Reports you buy (single reports and packages) stay in your account while it is open, including after a plan ends. Promotional reports, such as gifts, bonuses and storm offers, follow the terms shown with the offer, which may include an end date.

Free trial reports remain available while your account is open. We may change the free offer for new accounts at any time; reports already granted to you are not taken away.

Free and promotional reports are offered once per business. Opening more accounts for the same business to get them again is not allowed: we may merge those accounts and remove the free or promotional reports granted to the extra ones.

If we cannot produce a report you ordered (for example, the imagery for the address is not usable), we will tell you and return the credit or the charge for that report.

6. Refunds

30-day money-back guarantee. If M2Q is not right for you, write to support@m2q.ai within 30 days of your first membership payment, monthly or yearly. We refund that payment, less $18 for each Detailed Report and $5 for each Roof Size Report you used from the plan in that time, never below $0. The refund ends the membership right away and removes the plan’s unused reports. The guarantee applies once per business: not to renewals, not to a later membership, and not to another account of the same business, including accounts we can reasonably link to it by owner, team members, payment method or device. Report packs bought together with that payment follow the pack rule below.

Renewals, monthly or yearly, are not refundable and are not prorated. Cancel before the renewal date to stop the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Single reports are not refundable once ordered. A report we could not deliver is always credited back, and a materially inaccurate report is covered by section 7.

Report packs and packages. Within 30 days of buying a pack or package, you can ask for a refund of its unused reports at the price you paid per report in it. Used reports are not refunded. Reports rolled over from a plan are not refundable on their own.

Free and promotional reports have no cash value and are never refunded.

Any other request we review case by case and may grant one at our discretion; a refund in one case does not commit us to the same in another. Nothing in these Terms limits a refund the law requires. Write to support@m2q.ai.

Payment disputes. Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank; most problems are solved faster that way. While a dispute is open we may pause paid features on the account, and reports or plan time paid for by a charge that is reversed may be removed.

7. Measurements, estimates and material lists are estimates

Please read this section. Roof measurements, pitches, areas and lengths in M2Q come from aerial and satellite imagery, third-party data, and drawings you or others make. Material quantities, waste factors, coverage figures and prices are calculated from those numbers and from manufacturer information we believe to be accurate but do not control. Any of these can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.

They are estimates to help you work faster — not a site survey, and not engineering, code-compliance, insurance-claim or legal advice. Before you price a job, sign a contract or order materials, verify the numbers on site and check product specifications and local code with the manufacturer, your supplier and your building department.

You are responsible for the quotes you send, the prices you charge, the materials you order and the work you do. If a measurement report we delivered is materially inaccurate, tell us within 30 days of delivery; your remedy is that we redo the report or credit or refund what you paid for it, and we have no other liability for the inaccuracy.

8. Your customers, your contracts

M2Q is a tool you use to run your business. We are not a contractor and we are not a party to any agreement between you and your customers, suppliers or anyone else — including the quotes, proposals, warranties and contracts you create and send with M2Q.

You are responsible for their content and terms (including any wording M2Q suggests, which you should review and adapt), and for complying with the laws that apply to your business: contractor licensing, permits, consumer-protection and home-solicitation rules, cancellation rights, lien and warranty requirements, and taxes. Templates and sample wording are provided for convenience and are not legal advice.

9. Electronic signatures

M2Q lets your customers sign documents electronically and keeps a record of each signature (who signed, when, and from what device and IP address). Electronic signatures are generally recognized under the federal ESIGN Act and state laws based on the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, including Florida’s.

You are responsible for deciding whether an electronic signature is appropriate for a given document, for obtaining any consent the law requires, and for the legal sufficiency of your documents. We do not guarantee that any particular document will be enforceable.

10. Getting paid by your customers

Card and bank payments from your customers are processed by Stripe through an account connected to your business. By connecting, you agree to Stripe’s terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. M2Q does not hold your funds.

Processing fees, and any platform fee M2Q charges, are shown in the app before you turn payments on. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes with your customers are between you and them; you are responsible for them and for any related fees.

11. Emails and text messages

Messages you send to your customers through M2Q — quotes, reminders, invoices, texts — are sent on your behalf. Send them only to people who have given you the permission the law requires, and follow the laws that apply to them, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM and state equivalents. Honor opt-outs. A text reply of STOP is honored automatically and texts to that number stop.

Messages M2Q sends to you: we send account and service emails and texts (for example, “your report is ready”). If you give us your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive those texts; message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

12. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence — for example, reading a quote you upload, drafting a quote from your description, or suggesting product details. AI output can be wrong. Review it before you rely on it or send it to anyone; you are responsible for what you send.

Content you give these features is processed by our AI provider only to produce the result for you. We do not use your content to train AI models, and our provider does not use it to train theirs.

13. Your content and data

You own the content you put into M2Q — your customers, projects, quotes, templates, photos, documents and pricing (“Your Content”). You give us a limited license to host, copy, process, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service, and to deliver what you ask us to send.

Your Content includes personal information about your customers. For that information you are in charge: you decide what to collect and why, and you confirm you have the right to give it to us. We process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your customers’ information and never use it to market to them.

We may use aggregated, de-identified information that does not identify you or your customers to operate, measure and improve the Service.

You can export your data from the app, or ask us at support@m2q.ai, at any time while your account is open and for 30 days after it closes.

14. Acceptable use

Do not use M2Q to break the law or anyone’s rights; to send spam or unwanted messages; to upload malware; to access another account or data that is not yours; to probe, overload or get around the Service’s security or limits; to scrape it or copy it to build a competing product; or to resell it or share logins outside your team.

Measurement reports and imagery are licensed for your business’s use on the job they were ordered for, including sharing them with that job’s customer, insurer or supplier. Do not resell them or offer them as a data service.

15. Other services you connect

M2Q works with services run by others — for example Stripe, QuickBooks, Google, measurement and imagery providers, and email and text carriers. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and a change on their side may change what M2Q can do with them.

16. Our software

M2Q, its software, designs, templates and content (other than Your Content) belong to M2Q and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business while your account is in good standing. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

17. Suspension and termination

You can stop using M2Q and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, does not pay, puts other users or the Service at risk, or is used for fraud — with notice where we reasonably can.

When an account closes, access ends. We keep Your Content available for export for 30 days, then delete it within a reasonable time, except where we must keep something by law (for example, billing and signature records). Sections that by their nature should survive (such as fees owed, disclaimers, limits of liability and indemnity) survive termination.

18. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep M2Q accurate and available, but the Service, reports, imagery, estimates, AI output and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, M2Q disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title and non-infringement, and does not promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: M2Q will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, jobs, data or goodwill, however caused, even if we were told they were possible.

M2Q’s total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid M2Q in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For an inaccurate measurement report, the remedy in section 7 applies.

20. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify M2Q, and hold it harmless, against third-party claims and related costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from Your Content, your work and your dealings with your customers and suppliers, messages you send through M2Q, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial, and claims may be brought only individually, not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent the law allows.

Before filing a claim, please write to support@m2q.ai so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use M2Q after the effective date means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, you may cancel. The version and date at the top show what is current.

23. General

These Terms, with our Privacy Policy and anything you agree to at checkout, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If part of them is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them with our business. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may send notices by email or in the app.
